Eggshell Georgian china was highly publicized in the 1940s as a extremely durable, yet delightfully thin, lightweight, and decorative semi-porcelain that closely resembles bone china.
For this set, overall very good vintage condition with some signs of wear (some light scratches, wear to gold trim, as expected given the age of 70+ years). One dinner plate has a small edge chip. Otherwise, no chips, cracks, or crazing on the other 27 plates. The gorgeous baby blue trim design makes these plates prized by collectors! Great as a starter set for your collection or to supplement other pieces you already own.
